Job Title: Enrolment Advisor
Reports to: Director of Enrolment

The Enrolment Advisor is responsible for maintaining the alumni and donor relations program that is already in place. This is a full-time salaried position. The Enrolment Advisor shall agree to observe the employment and administrative policies of the SDA Church in Canada K-12 Board of Education, those policies of the North American Division K-12 Board of Education which pertain to the operation of Kingsway College, the policies adopted by the Board of Directors of this school, and those laws and regulations of the Province of Ontario which are applicable to this school.
Major duties and responsibilities
Enrolment Advisor Job Description
Provides role model of successful Christian living for the students.
Interacts with students and models spiritual maturity in leading students towards Christ and then spiritual growth.
Assists and/or organizes tour groups, seminar bands, and school visitations (speaker’s Bureau, graduations) in such a way that all of Eastern Canada has seen Kingsway College in some form.
Assists in coordinating alumni events on campus.
Assists in planning, coordinating and executing all aspects of the Fund Dinner.
Serves as the assistant editor of the alumni newsletter with 3 issues per school year.
Assists in developing and issuing correspondence to the community (parent newsletter, news releases, promotion of events on campus).
Works with Director in developing PR materials related to recruitment (layout of registration packet and any PR materials related to attracting potential students.
Plans and coordinates Preview Weekend.
Assists in developing monthly articles for The Messenger and Ontario Conference paper.
Participates in faculty/staff meetings and other major school events (Fund Dinner, Preview Weekend, Alumni Weekend, Graduation, etc.) as well as professional meetings and any other public relations type of seminars and/or workshops.
Provides adequate supervision of students for which he/she is responsible.
Other duties will include additional extra-curricular assignments such as supervision duties on weekday evenings and weekends, sponsorship of a class, organization, or club, and membership on various committees.
Responsible for visiting Churches on the weekends and schools during the week to promote Kingsway College.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Enrolment.
Job Standards and Requirements
A college degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing.
2-3 years experience in the field of recruitment
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
Proficient in computer programs such as Google Docs/Sheets, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Database Management, Photoshop and Publisher.
Able to work well under pressure.
Personable with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to organize and plan major events.
Understand the importance of confidential information concerning students and others while maintaining a high degree of integrity and support for Kingsway College.
Dedicated and active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Passionate about Adventist education and supports the mission of Kingsway College.
Professional, responsible, and a positive work attitude.
Available for weekend and evening hours when required.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
